Privacy & cookies

Your calculations

The calculator runs in your browser. Its code does not send your wages, hours, TD1 amounts, deduction names or results to a server, save them in browser storage, or use them to target advertising.

Website requests

Loading this website sends ordinary request information, such as your IP address, browser information and requested page, to the hosting infrastructure. Hosting providers may process this information to deliver and secure the site. This is separate from the numbers you enter in the calculator.

Advertising and cookies

Advertising is not active on this version of PayEstimate.ca. The reserved advertising placement stays hidden, and the site does not currently load Google's advertising script.

If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and other advertising providers may store or read cookies and use web beacons, IP addresses and device identifiers to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Advertising cookies can allow Google and its partners to personalize ads using visits to this and other websites. Calculator entries will not be supplied as advertising targeting data.

Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's privacy policy.

Your choices

You can manage personalized Google advertising in My Ad Center and opt out of participating third-party providers' personalized advertising at YourAdChoices. Browser settings also let you block or delete cookies. Opting out of personalization does not necessarily stop ads.

Before advertising is activated, this policy will be updated and any required consent choices will be made available. The calculator will remain available regardless of advertising consent.

Contact messages

If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to FormSubmit for delivery to the site owner by email. These details are used to read and respond to your message. This is separate from the calculator, which does not submit your entries.

FormSubmit states that it retains submissions for 30 days. Delivered emails may remain in the site owner's mailbox. The form uses FormSubmit's spam protection, which may ask you to complete a CAPTCHA. Read FormSubmit's privacy policy. Please do not send sensitive financial or identity information.
